FRISCO -- For Emil Djuse, the timing was right.
After marinating for five years in the SHL in Sweden, the 25-year-old Djuse is finally making the jump to North America and signed a one-year, entry-level contract with the Stars in April before participating in his first development camp with the organization this week.
"I feel like I've developed in every year in the Swedish league, and I feel like it's a great league for young players to develop," Djuse said. "Myself, I wanted to go and see something else and probably for the next step in my career.
