The Texas Stars suffered what was arguably one of their worst losses of the season this evening in Stockton. This one was definitely one of those "should win" games. Facing a team with just three wins in 2017 and on a ten-game losing streak, Texas gave up three goals in the first period en route to a 5-1 loss. Justin Peters stopped 30 of 35 and dropped his record to an even 4-4 after a sparkling 4-1 start.
Cole Ully had the Stars' only goal. It was a late tally with the score already at 5-0. The Stars were perfect on the penalty kill, if you're looking for silver linings.
