Start Of Homestand Versus Blues Tonight Comes At Good Time For Stars

With a win tonight, the Dallas Stars could record a 3-1-0 record versus Central Division opponents in their recent stretch of the schedule. It’d be the first time in a long time that they could say they’ve done that.

Luckily, they’ve been lethal on home ice this season, recording a 12-4-1 record so far. Tonight’s matchup marks the start of six straight home games and a big opportunity for Dallas to start racking up points and continuing to put space between themselves and the rest of the teams fighting for a wild card spot.

After a lackluster effort on the road versus the Minnesota Wild, stars head coach Ken Hitchcock hasn’t made any changes to his recent iteration of lines:

Ben Bishop starts in net tonight, marking his sixth consecutive start since missing a few games on the eastern road swing earlier this month due to back soreness.
