CEDAR PARK - The Stars have been known as one of the fastest teams in the NHL, but they're learning a new meaning to the word at training camp.
It's called pace.
Stars coach Ken Hitchcock put his players through a brisk practice Friday, and it was clear to the participants that the new administration wants some urgency this year.
"He does everything quick. He draws it up once, so you have to be paying attention at all times," said captain Jamie Benn. "The details are a big part of practice; and execution, as well. He went with an up-tempo practice, and I think that's what we need right now.
