Storyline
Two of the most disappointing teams in the 2016-17 NHL season meet in a pretty meaningless game. Tampa Bay still has a chance to get back into the playoff race in the East, but it is playing its first game after the bye week and is uncertain how it will respond. Dallas needs something like 36 points in the final 23 games, a darn near impossible task for any NHL team at pretty much any stage of the season.
