Stars turn in 'unacceptable' performance in another road loss, this time to NHL-worst Detroit

DETROIT -- Sunday evening in Detroit seemed like the perfect, flawless, textbook opportunity to escape the road struggles that have followed the Stars and seeped into their dressing room: a date with the league's worst team and their backup goalie, while entering with a two-game winning streak and sudden depth scoring.

Instead, the Stars remained winless on the road in three tries with a lethargic effort that finished with a 4-2 loss to the Red Wings.

"It's really unacceptable, to be honest," Stars goalie Ben Bishop said. "We come in here against a team that's been struggling and we go out and kind of just play to their level.
