Texas extended their point streak to four (2-0-1-1) with a seven-round shootout loss in Rockford on Saturday night. Ben Gleason and Jeremy Gregoire were the goal scorers for Texas, who scored each of those goals to take a lead, as opposed to playing from behind.
Adam Scheel got the start and stopped 29 through 65 minutes of action and 5 of 7 in the shootout. Arvid Soderblom collected the win with 20 stops in regulation and overtime and six stops in the shootout.
