Harrison Scott potted the opener, a tic-tac-toe play with Curtis McKenzie and Antonio Stranges. Artem Shlaine scored the next on the ailing Texas power play, his fourth goal of the season.
Scott collected the 3-0 tally on a goal that was originally awarded to Tommy Bergsland. The deflection off the point shot robbed Bergsland of what would have been his first career AHL goal.
