The carousel that has been the Stars defense for the past three seasons continues to spin, as Jamie Oleksiak's return to the lineup Thursday lasted for just one game.
After a rough outing, Stars coach Ken Hitchcock scratched Oleksiak for the third time in the past four games and put rookie Julius Honka in his place Saturday against Carolina. Hitchock said part of the reason could be that left-handed Oleksiak needs to play the left side. Oleksiak played the right side for much of last season and was moved into the top six this season because he could play the right side, but Hitchcock said Saturday that experiment might be over.
