Jason Spezza was hit into the boards Thursday in Colorado and suffered an upper body injury. IR is a minimum of seven days.

FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has recalled forward Radek Faksa from the Texas Stars, Dallas' top development affiliate in the American Hockey League (AHL). The team has also placed forward Jason Spezza on injured reserve, retroactive to the game on Feb. 4 at Colorado.
Faksa, 22, is currently tied for second on Texas with 15 goals and has registered 26 points (15-11=26) and a +12 plus/minus rating in 28 games this season.
