DENVER - Jason Spezza is trying to adjust, but there is a lot of adjusting to do.
The veteran center has been moved to wing again, just like he was last season. He's playing three fewer minutes a game. And his coach is talking up the need to give other players more ice time.
And yet he is determined to fix the problem.
Spezza entered Tuesday's game against Colorado with no goals and three assists. The man who has tallied 865 points in 919 career games is in a slump. But, he says, he feels he is close to breaking out.
