In the midst of the trade deadline coming up on Monday, it can get a little easy to forget that there are still games to be played in the NHL.
The Dallas Stars are playing two, in fact, between now and the trade deadline. Today, they’ll host the Carolina Hurricanes at home in a 4 PM puck drop matinee. Tomorrow, it’s another early one as they’ll drop the puck at 2 PM at the United Center versus the Chicago Blackhawks.
For today’s game, the Stars will be looking for a much better outcome than the last weekend when they played the Hurricanes — and saw them celebrate a home win with a limbo-themed Storm Surge after the game.
