Jim Nill's plan of making his players "every day professionals" gets started Friday, as the Stars begin their development camp in Frisco.

The Stars general manager espouses the idea that players need to embrace a lifestyle that will help them become good players and also good people, and his favorite proclamation seems perfect at a time like this.

"They really are learning to become every day professionals, because they are just now becoming professionals," said Stars senior advisor Les Jackson, who has been through about two dozen of these camps. "It's a great opportunity to give them training in a lot of different areas and get their base established as they move forward.
