The Texas Stars seem to have captured lightning in a bottle with their goaltending this weekend. In what was supposed to be a simple swap to get Philippe Desrosiers more ice time, Landon Bow arrived on the team last week. Now the backup has his first two AHL wins and has stopped 71 of 73 shots against him in his first two AHL games.
"I thought last night [Bow] settled our team down a bit and gave us the confidence to keep playing," said Coach Derek Laxdal. "Tonight he played the full game and it's good to see him pick up where he left off.
