Stars forward Mats Zuccarello fine after collision with Joel L'Esperance during morning skate in Calgary

CALGARY, Alberta -- Mats Zuccarello is okay after a collision with Joel L'Esperance during morning skate Wednesday in Calgary.

During line rushes, L'Esperance accidentally bowled over the injured Stars forward at the blue line, cutting Zuccarello above his right eye. Zuccarello went to the dressing room for stitches, and later returned to the ice.

"He just had a cut over his eye," Stars coach Jim Montgomery said. "A couple stitches, he'll be fine."

Zuccarello is recovering from a broken right arm suffered Feb. 24 in a win over the Blackhawks. The game was the only one Zuccarello has played with the Stars after being acquired from the Rangers for two conditional draft picks.
