The Stars need two goaltenders this season -- two good goaltenders.
Preseason games Monday and Tuesday are a good example of why.
You play on back-to-back nights in the NHL. You play three games in four nights. You travel a ton in the West.
So while it's easy to say that new goalie Ben Bishop, who signed a six-year free-agent contract in the summer, will be the team's No. 1 goalie, he can't do this alone. New backup and former No. 1 goalie Kari Lehtonen will play a huge role in trying to get the Stars' numbers back to respectability.
