Stars bust power-play slump with explosive first period vs. Nashville in Game 4

Without warning, the Stars' power play came out of a deep playoff slumber on Wednesday at the American Airlines Center.

The Stars had three power-play goals, by Roope Hintz, Alexander Radulov and Mats Zuccarello, in the opening 14 minutes of Game 4 against Nashville. It was the most power-play goals by the Stars in a period since the club re-located to Dallas.

To put this production into perspective, the Stars had one power-play goal on 13 chances in the first three games of the series.

The poor production, which included a wasted two-man advantage for 1:29 in a loss on Monday, was the subject of a team wide discussion on Tuesday.
