FRISCO, Texas - Dallas Stars General Manager Jim Nill announced today that the club has signed center Martin Hanzal to a three-year, $14.25-million contract.
Hanzal, 30, split the 2016-17 campaign between Arizona and Minnesota combining for 39 points (20-19=39) in 71 regular-season games. He set a career-high with his 20 goals and tied his career-high with 169 shots. Additionally, his 56.4% faceoff percentage finished one-tenth of a percentage point off of tying his career-high set in 2014-15.
