Saturday's game against Anaheim was the first in a mini-parade this season in which Stars coach Jim Montgomery will see a player who starred for him at the University of Denver.
"See" was the operative word instead of "face" on Saturday. Highly regarded Troy Terry, who played for Montgomery at Denver for three seasons, had played in all four Anaheim games prior to Saturday, but was a scratch against the Stars.
"He was the one local kid we got that was a superior talent to come to us," Montgomery recalled of Terry, 21. "We missed out on a couple of others.
