The Dallas Stars have a problem scoring outside of their top line. It feels like we’re beating a dead horse here, but unfortunately the horse doesn’t look like it’s going anywhere.
The fact is that out of the 28 goals the Dallas Stars have scored this season, 19 of them have come courtesy of the Jamie Benn - Tyler Seguin - Alexander Radulov trio. And while that might help your fantasy team, it leads to situations like Thursday night:
The problem is that on this night, the big guns did contribute -- Radulov scored late in the first to keep the game within reach, in spite of the team's tepid play -- but they were also on the ice for a couple of Jets goals and weren't at their best.
