NASHVILLE, Tenn. -- Lindy Ruff was either playing coy Tuesday or really undecided.
Either way, his response tells you the decisions he is making on defense right now are not easy.
Ruff on Monday made No. 1 defenseman John Klingberg a healthy scratch because he was late to the morning meeting. The coach then inserted three new defensemen into the lineup in Julius Honka (making his NHL debut), Esa Lindell and Jamie Oleksiak. Honka picked up an assist, Oleksiak had a goal, and Dallas took a 3-2 overtime win against Minnesota.
Asked Tuesday if Klingberg would return to the lineup Wednesday against the Nashville Predators, Ruff said: "I haven't made that decision yet.
