It sounds like the Dallas Stars better prepare for a future without center Cody Eakin.
According to a report by TSN's Darren Dreger, the Las Vegas Golden Knights are all but certain to make Eakin one of their selections in Wednesday's expansion draft. Picks are set to be officially announced Wednesday night during the NHL's awards show.
Nothing official until Vegas unveils its roster tonight, but hard to imagine the Golden Knights won't take Stars centre, Cody Eakin.
