Remi Poirier has been one of the hardest-working goaltending prospects in the Stars' organization. This summer, he was re-signed and has been promoted to the Stars' third-string goaltender. Even though he got a nice new job title, Poirier is not satisfied until he becomes an NHL backup goaltender.
With Jake Oettinger and Casey DeSmith as the number 1 and 2 goaltenders on the Dallas Stars this upcoming season, the Stars made sure to solidify who their third-string goaltender would be if something were to happen to either goaltender at any point in the season.
