Jamie Benn has not missed a game because of injury since 2013, but that's not because the Stars captain hasn't been injured.
Benn has a knack for playing through pain, which he did Saturday in a 3-1 loss to the Florida Panthers. Benn hurt his foot in a skirmish against the boards in the second period, but he jumped up, hobbled to the net, and helped Patrick Eaves score Dallas' only goal of the game.
Benn then played the remainder of the game, and coach Lindy Ruff was second-guessing that move after the game.
"I don't know if that was the smartest decision or not," Ruff said Saturday.
