Most NHL players loathe talking about injuries, especially their own.
But no player seems to hate injury talk more than Jamie Benn.
The Stars captain has played through sore hips and bounced back from double hip surgery. He's trying to bounce back from core muscle surgery he had in the summer, and when the media or his coach bring up the subject, Benn is naturally evasive.
"Are you guys claiming I'm not 100 percent?" Benn asked Thursday morning when the topic of his health came up.
When told coach Lindy Ruff had mentioned that, Benn gave a more detailed answer.
