BUFFALO -- The odds are not in the Stars' favor this week.
But what better time to change them?
Dallas ranks 27th in road record at 6-11-4 and has fewer wins against the Eastern Conference (2-6-3) than any team in the NHL, so a trip to play the Sabres, Rangers and Islanders could be a little bit of a challenge.
Mix in the fact the Stars are 2-4-1 in the last seven games and have won three consecutive games just once this season, and you have a pretty stern reality check for an 18-18-8 team.
"We have got to establish some type of road game," coach Lindy Ruff said after his team lost 5-4 to Minnesota on Saturday.
