CHICAGO — Hockey is a game of mistakes.
For the Stars right now, really big mistakes.
Dallas once again played a mostly decent game against a pretty good opponent in a fairly tough arena, and still found a way to lose. A soft goal, a bad track back after a power play, and a key penalty late were all the Chicago Blackhawks needed to take a 3-1 win Sunday at United Center.
The win allowed the Blackhawks to move to 18-8-4 while missing their captain and riding their back-up goalie. The Stars fall to 11-13-6 while they are getting healthier and showing improved play.
