Minuses stick to Devin Shore, but neither he nor the Stars coaching staff seems too concerned.
Shore entered Tuesday's game minus-16 (and moved to minus-15 after collecting an assist on a John Klingberg goal against the Blue Jackets). That's by far the worst on the Stars, and stands in stark contrast to the plus-16 of Radek Faksa, who leads the team in plus-minus. The statistic is supposed to help define two-way play. Basically, a player is given a "plus" when he is on the ice for a goal for at even strength or shorthanded and a "minus" when he is on the ice for a goal against at even strength or while on the power play.
