In front of a sellout home crowd, Texas arguably played one of their best games of the year in every aspect but the final score. Unfortunately for them, that's the only measure that matters. Despite a 46-17 shots differential, the Stars fell tonight by a 4-2 margin, setting their losing skid at four games as they hit the All-Star break.
"I really thought the guys put a solid effort in start to finish, probably our best 60 minutes of the year," said Coach Laxdal. "We had a few breakdowns, but we cleaned up a lot of areas. The guys deserved a better fate tonight.
