The only RFA who needed to be qualified at the deadline as he had not already agreed to a contract was Antonio Stranges. Today, the Dallas Stars announced he's inked a one-year extension with the team, two-way in nature, after a phenomenal campaign that saw his offensive game grow to its best output yet in his pro career.
Stranges has always wowed folks with his skating, but this year he found a way to put the puck in the net more than ever before and became a top-six mainstay for the Texas side. He was an instant energy boost for the team when he returned from injury in the Milwaukee series.
