KarI Lehtonen grew up in Helsinki and is 31 years old. Antti Niemi grew up about 20 kilometers away in Vantaa and is 31 years old. So the two have crossed paths a few times in their career.
Lehtonen told his best memory in an interview today.
“When I was 10, I was looking for a new team and we were just searching around, and there was one game where he and I split the ice time,” Lehtonen said. “I decided to go to another team and I settled down there, but that was one of the memories that came up today.
