FRISCO -- Jamie Oleksiak knew he might be traded this season. He just didn't expect it to be back to Dallas.
Oleksiak was the Stars' 2011 first-round pick and then traded to Pittsburgh in Dec. 2017 for a fourth-round pick. Dallas returned the same fourth-round pick to Pittsburgh on Monday afternoon to re-acquire Oleksiak 13 months after the organization shipped him away.
"I was pretty speechless," Oleksiak said after practice Tuesday. "In terms of a trade, I wasn't expecting it, but I wasn't going to be surprised. We had some guys coming back in Pittsburgh. When I heard it was Dallas, it threw me off guard.
