NASHVILLE -- The Stars showed in the first 30 minutes Sunday just how important their game against the Nashville Predators was.
That's why the last 30 minutes were so difficult.
Hoping to pick up points on the final playoff spot in the Western Conference, Dallas came out fighting and grabbed a 3-0 lead while cashing in on the power play. However, Nashville stormed back with four third-period goals, including one short-handed, to take a 5-3 victory.
The loss dropped the Stars eight points behind Nashville with 25 games remaining. They are six points behind Los Angeles, which holds the final wild-card spot and has two games in hand on the Stars.
