Iowa returned serve from last night, earning a 4-1 win over the visiting Texas Stars to even both clubs' season record to 1-1. Tye Felhaber was the only Texas goal scorer in the contest as the Wild never trailed in the contest. Most of the goals against the Stars were self-inflicted wounds as they had two end up in their net off of failed zone exits that went to the Wild.
Tomas Sholl got his first AHL start and his first game. He stopped 17 of 20 on the night.
In the positive column, there were fewer penalty kills for the Star to contend with as Iowa was only up a man three times in the game.
