Goalie Adam Scheel just can't catch a break. With a shutout in his sights and just eight minutes left in the game, Scheel allowed one and then another en route to a 3-1 Texas loss tonight in Iowa. The game seemed to be in hand for the Stars, if tight overall.
The North Dakota product stopped 27 straight shots against him before allowing two on the next four shots.
Texas didn't get Scheel a lot of run support with Ty Dellandrea earning the only Stars goal of the game off the assist from Riley Damiani in the second period.
