The Stars dug a huge Central Division hole to start the season, but they seem to be digging their way out of it.
After going 2-6-0 in their first eight divisional contests, Dallas has found a way to bounce back. With a 4-2 win over the St. Louis Blues Friday, the Stars are 3-1-0 in a four-game run against the Central and climb to within three points of St. Louis.
It was an incredible third-period comeback for a team that has struggled in the final frame. Dallas entered the game with the third worst goal differential in the NHL third periods at minus-15.
