ARLINGTON -- As the Blues bullied their way through the Stanley Cup Final, then down the St. Louis streets to the Gateway Arch, Ben Bishop was 30 minutes away.
Bishop, a St. Louis native, makes his offseason home in Des Peres, Mo., and was in the area as the Blues won the first Stanley Cup in franchise history in June. That would be tough to swallow on its own for the 32-year-old Stars goaltender. But add in that the Blues eliminated the Stars in the second round in double-overtime of a Game 7 when Bishop made 52 saves?
