Other than that, he never finished higher than eighth in the voting that names the NHL's best defenseman.
That's tough to hear about the player who is the franchise's all-time leader in defensemen scoring at 549 points and is one of the most revered members of Stars' yore. It's also an interesting history lesson as John Klingberg starts to move into a similar place in his career.
