CHICAGO - The Stars are having an odd argument - just who is responsible for one of the most important statistical changes of the season.
Dallas has moved from bottom five in goals against average earlier in the season to top five now. After allowing just 13 goals over the past eight games, the Stars now sit fifth in the NHL at 2.56 goals per game.
Dallas allowed 3.1 goals per game in the first 10 games of the season, but just 1.8 goals per game over the past 10.
“The numbers are really good because of the goalies," Stars coach Ken Hitchcock said.
