Heika: Lindy Ruff called it a 'playoff game', and the Stars leaned on their young guns in another hard-nosed win

NASHVILLE -- With Jason Spezza missing his fifth straight game with an upper body injury, the Stars have leaned on Cody Eakin and Mattias Janmark during one of the toughest stretches of the season.

On Monday, Dallas received goals from each of the young centers, including the game-winner in overtime as Dallas beat Nashville, 4-3, at Bridgestone Arena.

"Matty has played well game in and game out," Stars coach Lindy Ruff said. "And Cody, I thought this was one of his better ones."

Janmark had a goal and an assist and is leading a makeshift line that includes Ales Hemsky and Valeri Nichushkin that has become great at possession.
