GLENDALE, Ariz. - Like a 1940s cartoon, the Stars stand with an angel on one shoulder and a devil on another.
"You're really starting to understand the way you need to play," says the angel in a sweet voice. "Stay true to your heart and you will ultimately succeed."
While the devil then whispers: "You're nuthin' but bums. That was the worst performance I have ever seen. You should be ashamed of yourself."
And, as so often happened in these animated battles of conscience, both are a little bit right, and the principal character has some tough decisions ahead.
