In a move that surprises precisely no one, the Dallas Stars announced this morning that they have recalled Landon Bow to the NHL. Late in last night's game in Calgary, Dallas starter Ben Bishop was injured, necessitating the recall.
Dallas plays tonight in Edmonton, so Bow will make quick work of a long travel day to get there by puck drop.
With two games this weekend for Texas, the recall increases the likelihood that ATO Jake Oettinger makes his pro debut in Iowa. Even before the recall, Coach Laxdal indicated he "wouldn't rule out" a start for Oettinger.
