Following the recent injuries to forwards Devin Shore and Branden Troock and defenseman Jesse Blacker, the Texas Stars have recalled Cole Ully and Gemel Smith from Idaho. Each tallied a goal during their short stint with the Steelheads. Smith added three assists as well.

The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced Monday that forwards Gemel Smith and Cole Ully have been recalled from the team’s ECHL’s affiliate, the Idaho Steelheads.
Smith (jeh-MEHL SMITH), 21, has appeared in 20 AHL games this season with nine points overall, including six goals (6-3=9).
