The Texas Stars are back at it after a much needed period of rest. The sledding doesn't get any easier, as they will take on the Central-leading Grand Rapids Griffins.
Head coach Derek Laxdal recently talked about how tired the team was following in the midst of and following a fruitless road trip in which they dropped five straight. Fatigue was bound to set in at some point, seeing that the Stars played seven games in the span of only eleven days. That's exhausting no matter how young and athletic you are.
The All Star break came at just the right time for the reeling Stars.
