Radek Faksa popularized the phrase "lick the gravy" when he scored an easy goal last season.
This holiday season, he's eating the whole feast.
The fun-loving, 22-year-old center is getting more comfortable in the NHL, and his personality is starting to show through. That's good news for Stars fans.
"That's the guy he was in the minors. He was a funny guy, very comfortable," said linemate Brett Ritchie, who played with Faksa on the Texas Stars. "He's obviously good defensively, he has the skill to score goals, and he's not afraid of anybody."
That was clear this week when he laughed at Arizona goalie Mike Smith, challenging him to a fight.
