Forward Artem Shlaine Commits to Texas Stars on AHL Contract

Fresh off an ATO stint with Texas, forward Artem Shlaine has signed an AHL deal for the coming year with the Stars. Shlaine joined Texas for six games at the end of the year and collected a point in those contests.

There are still some more AHL signings to come but will relatively few departures from this year's squad, Shlaine feels like an AHL/ECHL option between Cedar Park and Boise. He'll be competing with players like Harrison Scott, Ayrton Martino and other new additions for time in the bottom six.

Here's the release:

The Texas Stars, American Hockey League affiliate of the NHL’s Dallas Stars, announced today that the club has signed forward Artem Shlaine to an AHL contract for the 2025-26 season.
