The Texas Stars fell to the Stockton Heat 6-2 on Friday evening after allowing four goals in the third period. Brett Pollock, a 2014 2nd round pick of the Dallas Stars, recorded a hat trick to bring his career AHL goal totals to four. Landon Bow had one of his more forgettable games of the season, stopping only 24 of 29 chances on goal.
Stars coach Derek Laxdal lamented his team's effort after the game saying, "We didn't have anybody going tonight. That was on us a little bit, but it was mostly on [Stockton]. They played a containment game and took away our time and space in the neutral zone.
