WINNIPEG - I pulled out a clip from the movie Broadcast News this week, in part because I just love revisiting the incredible writing, and in part because it seemed so current.
It's the scene where Holly Hunter's character Jane Craig is telling her boss that he's making a terrible mistake, and her boss is defending himself.
But when Jane sticks to her guns, you get some real insight.
"So you're absolutely right...and I'm absolutely wrong," the boss challenges.
And Jane gives a nod that is both sheepish and aggressive all at the same time (which is an amazing job of acting, by the way).
