Film room: Why breakouts are so key to the Stars' offense, and why they miss John Klingberg significantly

SAN JOSE, Calif. -- The Stars miss John Klingberg. That's not a secret, nor a surprise. He's an offensive engine from the blue line, a master at the point on the power play and one of the best defensemen in the league transitioning from defense to offense.

He's been out for the last five weeks now and likely has two more to wait until he returns from a broken hand around Christmas. During Wednesday night's loss in Anaheim, the Stars could have used their top defensemen in a game when they struggled to break the puck out of their own zone.
