The night before Thanksgiving has not been a kind one to the Dallas Stars in recent years. During the 2017-18 season, the Stars suffered a 3-0 pummeling at the hands of the Colorado Avalanche to shift into the break.
Last night, Dallas took another beating in a 5-1 defeat at the hands of the Pittsburgh Penguins. After starting a three-game road trip in the northeast with a 1-1-0 mark, the Stars ended the swing on a rather depressing note.
The Penguins helped bring out some of the serious flaws in the Stars’ game plan, including the mess of injuries they are currently fighting through.
